I went to the beauty therapists' today and had a nice relaxing facial but she asked me to sniff different oils to see what my body needs so she knew which products to use. Anyone heard of this and how does it work?

It might be to make sure you're not allergic to anything.

Oils have different tone ratings the test is to see which one you'll find most relaxing,
e.g lavender works for me but makes my twin sister really anxious

Its just a way of finding out which smells relax you the most

hmm had plenty of facials but I've never heard of a sniff test.....
Maybe she was just being friendly and showing you her collection of pongs!!!!
