If you have to ask then you dont need to be bringing more animals into this world. Hopefully you have 2 males or 2 females..... if they started fighting sounds like they are both the same sex..lol Which would benefit a lot of people including yourself

Please do not breed your hamsters. Only trained breeders should EVER do this. If the babies get sick will you be able to pay for them to go to the vet? Can you give them the attention they need?

Please reconsider. Babies are cute, but think of the hamsters.

Dont breed them.

- commercialized breeding has contaminated their genetic pool. (deformed babies, sick babies, genetic diseases)
- breeding syrians is risky. you risk the lives of both hamsters. you also shorten the mothers live and put stress onto her.
- its irresponsible as a pet owner
- do you have responsible homes for the babies?
- do you have the time, money and space if you decide to keep them?
- what if your hamster dies giving birth to her litter? the chances of her babies surviving is very low.

yes. babies are cute. but the responsibilities that come with it are important too.

you can breed them by puttting a male and female hamster in a cage together with lots of stuffing or a little cardboard box so they have a place to hide out together.

The first thing to consider is whether you have homes for any babies that might be born. If you can't keep them yourself and don't have homes lined up, it may be best to just stick with the hammies you have. If you already have that taken care of, however, you may want to check out http://www.petwebsite.com as they have good tips on breeding and care afterwards.
