Which movie of Al Pacino do you like the most and why??
I feel all of them are brilliant masterpieces..But 'The Scent of a Woman' impressed me the most.He brings in so much passion and dedication into acting..And as a Blind retired colonel he was stunning!!!

Scent of a woman, arguably. Of course, you can't deny his brilliance in Scarface either. But as a waning old general with bad habits and a lot of knowledge to impart he was at his best.

My favorite is still Dog Day Afternoon. It's a brilliant movie, and he truly gives a charismatic performance...At times, manic and frantic, (based on a real, bizarre bank robbery that went horribly wrong) the movie mixes absurd comedy with tragedy in a way that simply has to be seen (and felt) to be believed.

Runner-ups?

The Godfather
And Justice For All
Donnie Brasco
The Insider

So many good movies to choose from, it's hard to decide.
I agree that Scent of a Woman was fantastic. I also like The Godfather II and Scarface.

I still think his best role was in The Godfather. He gave a chilling performance. In Godfather II, he was excellent again. I enjoyed Scent of a Woman also, but his range in the Godfather movies seemed greater and more demanding.

The Devils Advocate. After that speech at the end I wanted to be his son so I could join his family business.

That's sooooo hard. I love so much of his work, but I'd have to say Dog Day Afternoon - he got a lot of acclaim for that.
