This is a very easy plant to look after but it is also a very easy plant to kill.
Keep it in indirect light, no hot sunshine.
Keep it slightly dry between watering, do not allow to go totally dry, but do not keep it soaking wet
Fertilize very sparingly as it can burn the plant. Once a month during growing season of April to September.
Place it in a pot that has drainage. I try to avoid self contained pots so I don't over water it.
Trim back to maintain shape and health.
Cuttings can be rooted to start more plants.

i bought a purple wonderng jew plant from walmart for 3 bucks. I htink they are supposed to be hanging plants but i put it on the kitchen table. All i have done is water it 4 times a week. I have had it for 6 months and it looks beatiful.

AHA! You've hit on one of the few things in this world (unlike girls, women, men, and boys) that thrive on abuse. Just water the thing. Trim it back when you want, it's easy to start another plant from clippings.

just water it once a week or so. It is very resilient so don't obsess. The more sunlight the more purple will show
