I have a friend who always got an ideas to go on summer holidays and everytime we agree on something she always change her mind of going somewhere. I ended up annoyed cos she keep her promise and let me down. So I started ignoring her although I knew it is not a best way to deal with it. What would you do?

I have a friend just like this. Awlays letting me down. I've learnt not to take any suggestion she makes seriously and I dont bother agreeing to go any more holidays with her. We are still friends and she will never change. Find someone else who you can rely on.

Try finding out her reason. She may love the idea but hate the idea of flying, (we didn't come with wings) or going by boat ( we don't have air bags). I understand it is frustrating to bet let down so often. She could just be scared. If she is you could try some extreme sport holidays and throw her in at the deep end together with a good friend to support her through it. Or maybe this idea frightens you? Try it and see what she says. If not go and enjoy the sun by yourself once she knows what she missed I am sure she will soon be ripping of the jeans and jumper and donning her bikini.

tell her that you have found someone else to go with and see how she reacts if she is upset then at least you will know that she means it. or maybe she might think by going on holiday with you that u may want more than friendship and that may be scaring her a little put her mind at rest either way. good luck!!

talk to another firend about going on holiday, decide where you are going to go with her and then invite your friend who is causing the problems, if she doesnt go then you still end up going on holiday and having a good time

hiya, if your friend keeps letting you down I would be inclined to suggest that you stop making plans with them and ask a more reliable friend to go on holiday with you..
a true friend wouldn't continually let you down!!

Do nothing. Just stop making plans that include your friend. You're better with people who aren't like this. It happened to me too with one of my friends. We had plans to go to Greece this summer me and my 2 best friends. One of them is exactly like your friend and you can't count on her, never!

find a new friend to make plans with. She is obviously unreliable...or dont put much faith in her in the first place that way you wont be let down.
