What do u think about AU-PAIR?

I want to know negative aspects of this program.

It can be hard to fit in and get along. The situation often leaves both the family and the girl without many chances to get out if there is an incompatibility.

The other hard thing is that often girls go as an au-pair thinking it is a "free ride", but it is an employment contract like any other, where you get room, board and pocket money. A girl who does not like housework or staying with children would be happier with another opportunity.
