Why are politically incorrect people always:
a) white?
b) boasting about being politically incorrect?
And why do they think that society is 'political correctness gone mad' when the dominant groups in society do not realistically speaking have their power (including their power of expression) challenged by any of the traditionally weaker groups?
And lastly, if you are politically incorrect, to what extent should we allow freedom of expression? What words should still be used and what actions should be allowed?

Some of you should do some elementary logic problems. Saying that category A (i.e. the politically incorrect) falls into category B (i.e. white people) does not mean to say that all white people are politically incorrect. I apologise if you find the term 'white' offensive. And how comes nobody answered the last part of my question - what specific words and actions should be allowed that are politically incorrect?

It's a backlash against the ridiculousness of some recent politically correct decisions, I believe. Then of course, as soon as one person makes a bold, but entirely understandable politically incorrect statement, it gives all the ignorant racists the chance to jump on the bandwagon and start spouting rubbish again.
It was the same with feminism. Look at the backlash after that. When any form of thinking becomes extreme, it opens itself up to ridicule.

I will answer this one more properly later.
But political correctness has gone mad!
a) they are not always white! They are the major ones who are campaigning for it!!!
b) I have never heard anyone boasting about being politically incorrect!
Society has gone political correctness gone mad. And believe me the traditionally weaker groups do challenge the dominant ones. How many different types of protesting do you hear about?
And for your last point. . . People should be free to say what they want! As long as they are not promoting hatred. For example that hook fella and the BNP! Both should be banned and jailed!!

Yes, but at the same time, a lot of racial minorities as well as women and homosexuals are exploiting equality laws. If they don't get certain jobs because they are unsuitable for them, some go screaming to the race/sex discrimination councils and the boss employs them rather than go through the hassle of a court case. Also, have you ever tried complaining about racial or sexual discrimination if you're a white man? You get nowhere. Before you make any assumptions, I'm a socialist but I'm not so fundamental as to turn a blind eye to injustices in some cases, and yes, The Daily Mail/Express/Sun are making up some of these ridiculous cases of 'political correctness gone mad' just for a good soundbite.

You're politically incorrect in saying only white people are politically incorrect.
I'm half Shawnee tribe and half white. I've dated black, white, yellow, red, and brown women and I have friends of all colors and creeds. There isn't a minority out there who doesn't have more than their share of bigots.
Almost all of your "weaker" groups challenge your "dominant" group. It's called "civil rights."
Some of the best civil rights leaders have even been known to be white at times.
I hope I'm not being politically incorrect. It is my goal that someday there will be no more labels. No labels based on color, religion, gender, or sexual orientation, that someday we're all simply known as "people."
Even this will not make a perfect world. But it may cut down on gratuitous wars.

You are incorrect.
Most of the "politically correct" people are white do-gooders.
They are always trying to "apologise" for "the deeds and actions" of their ancestors.
They try to promote "religious festivals" for religions that they do not believe, whilst forgetting their own religious heritage.
They seek to change nursery rhymes.
They want to forget the history of their own people.
They support the criminal whilst forgetting the victim.
I live in Great Britain,I have nothing to be ashamed of.
Since the advent of "the politically correct", society has become scared to identify with its history and heritage.
Why should we be ashamed of saying and doing what we think or want.We live in a FREE WORLD.

hmmm, you need some examples here about all the whites and their supposed politically incorrect statements.
I speak my mind about things, but have never been refered to as politically incorrect.
I do believe that people try to do things within what we think is the "NORM", and without thinking what "they" really want. So if you do things you don't want to and don't do other things because you are scared what others will think then who here is in the wrong.... the person who compromises their integrity or the supposed "person in power"?

Here is an example of the 'politcal correctness gone mad' stories that UncleSid mentions -
http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20060713/wl_uk_afp/britainemploymentracism_060713064645
"A history graduate had been banned from applying for a post in a royal palace because he is white, British newspapers reported.
Kieron Keenan, 23, said he was told he could not put his name forward to work as a trainee museum assistant at the Royal Pavilion in Brighton on the southern English coast because he is not of African, Afro-Caribbean, South Asian or Chinese descent.
Brighton and Hove Council used the Race Relations Act to block whites from applying for the 9,000 pounds (16,500 dollars, 13,000 euros) a year job to help fill quotas for ethnic minority employees, The Daily Telegraph reported."

Stop whining!
Please, I get sick of this little argument.
If you like something; say it, if you don't; say it. That is your prerogative.
Why should I tell you what to think? I don't want to, nor do i care what you think.... that's life my friend - freedom of choice and speech.
I think that liberal Nazi's should get off their high horse and acknowledge the world for what it really is and not what they want it to be.
You cannot protect people's feelings by banning freedom of speach. Majority rules I am afraid - always has and always will - like it or not.
