Our Indian Date Sauce would be ideal for you. It is a delicious relish with the sweet & sour taste of dates, raisins & tamarind. Here's the Recipe :
Yields : 8 Servings
½ cup Dates, stoned
2 tb Raisins, Seedless
1 ts Cumin, ground
1 ts Chile powder
1 ts Tamarind Pulp
½ c Cold water
¾ ts Salt; or to taste
1 ts Brown sugar, soft
1. Put all the ingredients in a food processor and add half the water. Switch on and when the ingredients are half ground add the remaining water & blend until fairly smooth.
2. Pour the sauce into a strainer and push it through with a metal spoon until a dry and coarse mixture is left in the sieve. Discard this mixture. Transfer sauce to a serving bowl. Garnish with a few sliced dates, if desired.

Use 1 bottle of Hienz chili sauce, mixed with about 1 cup of grape jelly. Add more as needed to get enough sauce for the amount of meatballs you are cooking. Cook slowly for a couple of hours on high in your crock pot. Then lower the heat to low and allow to simmer for an hour before serving.

I'm not sure what you are looking for, but here's my meatball recipe:
In a pot on the stove, mix a jar (or 2) of spaghetti sauce (any kind) with a jar (or 2 ) of grape jelly (any kind) - (YES, I said GRAPE JELLY!!!)-with your seasonings (salt, peper, garlic, etc.) over medium heat.
Once mixed, pour over your meatballs and put in the oven on low for about 20-30 minutes. Then get to eating!!!
It sounds crazy w/the jelly, but it is soooo gooood!!

Sweet and sour sauce. You can mix a jar of chili sauce and a jar of maybe apricot preserves and simmer it for a while.
