cant believe there is no reply with an asian country!
my vote for Singapore! although a small island but well developed, efficient, clean, friendly, modern, great food, great shopping and great lifestyle!! paradise for expatriates. .. and the locals speaks great english, so its really easy and convenient for westerners.

In my dream world, I would like to live somewhere with a temperate climate, by the sea, with not too many people but near enough places to go to, including cultural facilities like a really good library, art gallery and theatre, and shops. Which country doesn't matter too much providing it is a democracy that will protect my privacy, freedom and human rights.
Thinking of these requirements, certain places in Southern Sweden are probably as good as any.
Of course, if I were really wealthy I would do what really rich people actually do, i.e. have several places (but not so many they don't become home) to live in for different times of year and activities, and also a yacht (which I would base in the Mediterranean).

Which country would I like to live? Are you suggesting that I declare one country worthy of living ??? Those that I do not choose would be terminated? I cannot empathize with such violent inclinations. Let's stop pondering how to eliminate each other & concentrate on "getting along".

Italy, I went there on my honeymoon and I never wanted to leave, Its is cool and sunny all day, Warm and light in the evening and rainy at night! The food is amazing, the booze is plentful and cheap, and the scenery, well, that you will have to see for yourself, spend a week in Sermeione, in Lake Garda. It is Heaven on Earth!!!

Ibiza becuz it is my ideal place, hot weather, gorge beaches and dancin all nite in sum of the worlds best clubs! Or Italy becuz its so laid bak cuz altho its a bit quiet 4 my taste i absoloutley luv it across ther!
