What have you lied about, recently?

I lied to my son last week. He was away and I was very ill. When he called me, I told him I was fine as I didn't want him to worry about me. It would serve no purpose to upset him and or his time away. I survived and I'm here to talk about it. I'm also fine now.He'll never know of this as it won't benefit him......

I also told someone I would come before them and confess to them and I didn't. I guess that is more like a broken promise than a lie as I couldn't do it. Only because I am afraid of being too near and not being able to reach out.....I can't say anymore....oh this hurts......hope I am forgiven for this as I need to feel loved by them, in more ways than one....
So there's what I would have confessed if I had actually gone. It's not a big deal but it bothers me, all of it. Mostly the second half of this little admittance, as I am admitting how much I still ........

It was a small white lie, but I told this guy who called me last night for a date that I hadn't had an opportunity to call him back yet. He had left a message for me about an hour earlier. The real reason I didn't call him back right away was because I wasn't sure I remembered who he was...

Since this is an anonymous site, my health. I tell people, my children especially. that I am healthy, when in reality I am not. With age, comes health problems, "that's a fact, jack "( "Stripes" a funny movie). I try not to live in my "problems." The ones that are correctable, are corrected. The ones that are not, are not. I live with it, can't complain. It is just "One day at a time" and "Step by Step" I thank you for giving me the opportunity to "come clean," to vent. You are a good person, summerspirit. I like your answers.

I told my sons to stop picking on their littles sister because every little sister has a fairy to protect them and she doesn't like mean brothers. Made my youngest boy cry. I feel bad about that but my wife says he's been nicer to the baby.

That I was changing the bandage on my stitches. I work at a hotel, and whenever I don't come to the counter right away they get upset, so I make them feel bad.

Told my hubby I didn't have lunch yesterday.
Not really a lie, I snacked most of the day on approved snack food.

got pulled over and when hubby asked I said it was because I was speeding...lol...
he will find out the real reason he's a cop.
the real reason was I was already stopped was at a bar and had to pee so I went at a park outside and got caught...yeah not funny..but they let me off with a warning...lol
shh..hubby hasnt found out yet!

I have been lying that it does not hurt me when my oldest daughter thinks that I don't love her or that the things she say don't bother me because they do, and I try not worry about them because I pray for them but, I have not really prayed, nor have I stopped worrying.
I wish I could say that it doesn't bother me that I have not seen her or even spoken to her since my wedding day in April of 06 I say it don't bother me but, when I am alone in my house or in my bed I cry,cry,cry.
