I hate it when people go slow in the fast lane, or dont know what to do at a 4-way stop, or people who just suck at driving in general

Getting or being expected to say "bless you" in response to a sneeze. I know I'm not getting best answer, most people find me rude. Thank you for providing me with this opportunity though. I find it superstitious, and annoting noise. What the heck?! A sneeze feels good and is in no way of some risk to the person who sneezed. Why not say "bless you" when people are choking up in a cough? Wouldn't that make more sense? I used to work in an office, with two other colleagues in the same room, and we did research and writing, so quiet was important. Well, one of my colleagues had allergies and sneezed a lot, like a million little sneezes in a row. And the other colleague went on saying "bless you" to her every sneeze. Can you just imagine that?

I hate bad drivers as well. Like when people don't signal, tailgate, pass you too fast, cut you off in traffic, or drive out into an intersection BEFORE the light turns green just because the opposite light is turning yellow.

Bad driving is the worst. There is just such a long list...The one that drives me the most insane is when someone cuts in and out of traffic, nearly causing an accident or two and then pulls into the next road or driveway... I always think, initially, that they are behaving that way because of an emergency situation. Then when I see them pull in, I can nearly tear my hair out!!!!

I agree with yours. mos of my pet peeves are driving related. I live in Houston, one of the busiest cities in the nation, and people drive like COMPLETE morons here. one of the ones that drives me nuts the worst are the people that don't speed up to merge onto the freeway. they think they can merge into traffic doing 70+ MPH going 40 MPH. I always go around them and that pisses them off. I get flipped off a lot. ha.

My biggest pet peeve right now is after I sit down to relax my husband will say to my son "wash the baby" which gets my 2 year old to undress and rub his hair and say "wash the baby" meaning he wants a bath. He's just so dang cute that I can't turn it down and instead of relaxing I give him a bath.

I had asked a similar question months ago....Unfortunately, I have a ton of gripes, involving mostly pretension, prejudice, how we treat one another, and of course, driving foibles...But keeping it more trivial and personal, I absolutely abhor various computer abbreviations, especially:

ttfn -- I mean, who in their right mind, says "ta-ta, for now" --ugh!

And, the most hideous and overused is "LOL"....especially, when people use it after something they "say", and sometimes repeatedly at that.
I just see red when I see this...People use it so mindlessly, and it's completely unoriginal, gratuitous and increasingly meaningless.

There, I said it!

I think I have more than one pet peeve... But one that gets on my nerves a lot is when waiting for pedestrians, people take their precious time crossing the street, not just elderly people (of whom I can understand), but healthy young people who walk so slooooooooow.... people....*shakes head*

I hate it when people say "biggest pet peeve". We can only have one "pet" peeve, as that is our biggest, or favorite, or "pet". The rest are just peeves.

Sounds dumb but it drives me totally crazy if someone bites into a popsicle. I am getting goosebumps just typing this message and thinking about it right now.
