you just don't want to fix everyones problems ??? What I can't have a day to be selfish ?

Everyone needs to be selfish every now and then and have a day to themselves. Take a day and spoil yourself. I actually like hanging out with myself, I'm a pretty cool person, plus you don't have to have someone rushing you and telling them about your problems. Hanging out with yourself gives you time to sort things out and relax at the same time. I do it every now and then.

Amen! Take a day to not answer your phones unless you want to. Screen your calls with Caller ID. If it is a problem prone person, DONT ANSWER. Wake up late, take a hot bubble bath, wash your hair and walk around your house in your PJ's all day long. If you leave your house, don't tell anyone and don't invite anybody, just do what you want and the problemees will just have to wait. By the way, you may do well to take another day to tell the miserables that it is time to straighten up, grow up or get some professional help.

sometimes you get so fed up with your own problems,you just don't have the room for someone elses you know? And when you need them to just be that listening ear for you seems like they so busy yeah you can have a day to be selfish I don't see a problem with that!

It is very strange issue. You knew it is other people's problems and not your, Why are you giving your 2cents effort and they might not appreciated at the end of the day.
I always tell my daughter "If you don't find problem, problem won't find you"
Ever feel a day when you, yourself is facing a problem and nobody is there to give you 2cents of their opinion?
If you do not wish to hurt the person concern, just listen and say "you are facing an issue and I have no idea what to do if I were in your position" Than stop and change subject immediately. Its work for me.

The first thing you need to do is recognize it's not your job to fix other people's problems. Word will get around and everybody will be dropping theirs off at your door step. You've got problems of your own. Solve them and your through for the day, with energy to spare.
