I'm about 8-9 days past ovulation. I think I'm prego, but the home tests aren't accurate yet. I've had major gas/bloating and what I think is implantation bleeding (I had it with preg 1 too).
I'm going into the dr. today for something else, can/should I ask for a preg test? I don't know if a pos. result would show up in my blood this early...anybody know? I'm about 4-6 days before missed period.

The doctor may tell you its too early, but if she/he is willing, why not?

Early detection tests(First Response) will start to show results as early as 10 days after ovulation. Of coarse the longer you wait the more likely there will be enough HCG to make the test positive.

My wife and I just did this last night.

My baby implanted 8 days after ovulation, then my first positive pregnancy test was at 8 days after implantation, so it might be way too early to tell, if you just had implantation you have to give your body a chance to produce the hcg hormone so it can be detected in a pregnancy test. I would wait at least 10 days after the date you think it was implantation. God bless.

Ask the Dr. I would if I had a scheduled visit.
-I'm actually having the gas/bloating feelings as well as a nagging slight neasua for 3 days. I wish they made home tests that could tell you anytime if your pregnant. lol everyone hates the waiting.
*good luck

Sure ask for the blood test. They can detect before a missed period.

It only takes about a day for a positive blood test. So if you ask for one you will defintly know for sure.

It never hurts to ask. Tell your doctor where you are in your cycle and see what he says.
