About the only good film that Russel Crowe has made.
They should have cast a latina actress for the role of Alicia Nash, not Jennifer Connelly (She's great, and I love her, but are there NO latinas who could have done this role? Does anyone belive Jennifer Connelly as a woman from El Salvador?)
The movie takes many liberties with the actual story of John Nash, but that is typical of Hollywood films.

I thought it was a beautiful movie, well played. And yes, I believe someone can become ill from being too involved with ones work. He was excessively into mathematical equations, and simply drove his mind to the outreaches. Who is to say if the voices were or were not with him prior. You just don't know.

It was an excellant movie. It gave a wonderful experience of what it is like to have such an illness and not realize it. It was informative that for years that he had suffered from it and no one had ever noticed it.

Not bad but it would have been better if they used an actor for the lead role, wood is just too rigid.
