Same Situ...
Kill the card kil the card kill the card....did you get that *grin*
with a card out of the way its a major headache gone..& it will look good on a credit check that it was resolved speedily..
It will provide you a gap to save for a homecoming or a enjoyable family outing to your part of the planet.
Here my wifes input....
Hi there, all new to this. My answer - without my hubby even reading the whole predicament out... PARENTS, FAMILY! You can always earn more money and pay off the card debt month by month but, when your parents are gone (especially if they live in SA, it can be anytime, anyday) you will ALWAYS regret not having spent the time and allowing your kids the precious times and memories.. Money can be replaced, family can't.
Well then are you unconfused yet HAHA??
Good luck, Best wishes

Hi Porgie!
If there is one thing that i have learnt in life and that is 'Life is too short' or 'Spend each day as if it were to be your last'.
Now by using those two sayings the best one i would advise you to do is to get your kids grand parents over to you! I'm sure you would rather make your family happy than make your stupid credit card fully paid! You even said that you can carry on paying the monthly installments even if you pay for their way over.
Hope i helped! Kim :)

I better get my bullets ready.
Aren't you coming over in january?
Didn't I say to you 'Don't you chicken out' ?
Alright let's be serious now. You know the greatest people to the young kids are grand-parents. Grand-parents have got a special place in the kids' hearts. And the togetherness of the kids with the grand parents is usually not long enough because of natural reasons eg. old age health problems, debility, and death. So depriving the kids of seeing their grannies would be the biggest mistake, and guilt feelings will always haunt you if anything worse happens to their grannies before they see them.
So, satisfy the kids first, and then afterwards you can get ready for my bullets.

Koop uself 'n polisie kar!
No, I'm just joking. If I were you, I'd bring my grand parents over. Family does come first. If you can pay your credit card and bring them over, then it should work...but listen here, I've failed all my accounting tests, so I wouldn't know what money should be payed for the credit card. But I say bring the grand parents over...
hope this helped

Have you Mum and Dad visit. At least your kids and yourself will not have to put up with the violent crime in South Africa and run the risk of being returned in a coffin. Even if you live in Lebanon they will be safer there than in South Africa.

Have your parents over. You said you could still manage the monthly payments. That way everyone is happy!
