Welp, I'm sure we all know about Duke's infamous student cheering section, the Cameron Crazies. Well, our school has the Resler Rowdies. We all have tshirts and cheers. It has the complete atmosphere of a college game. But then again, we also had an all-state reciever, so our team was pretty good. That attributed alot to the turnouts I think. But, we had a great marching band too, that really adds alot to a game. We steal alot of cheers and things from Purdue University. Its a blast. Get some kind of incentive to get your kids there, like having the Resler Rowdies or Cameron Crazies, I know our Rival school has "The V Block" which is there cheering section. Also, our local radio station comes out every so oftn to do a pass punt and kick contest. So thats always fun. Our local TV station also has what they call the "friday night frenzy", becasue all of our varsity games are played on fridays. So they film the game, and th craziest fans always get to film a segment for the local news that goes somthing like "Stay tuned for the Friday Nigt Frenzy!!!" Theres also a battle of the bands. Between rival schools, and who evers the craziest and the most spirited wins free pizza from wherever. Its great. Theres alot of fun in football. Welp, hope some of those ideas help!!

Do you have cheerleaders? A good announcer helps. And a good marching band is worth their weight in gold.
My husband and I still go to the local high school football games and we haven't had a kid in school for 3 years. The games are fun and we love hearing the band.

make the team better and they will be into it.

Plus most students don't go to the game for spirit, but the social aspects of it.
