check the fuse panel inside the drivers door and the side of the dash to see if there is a red reset button. if there is, then turn the car to the on position, and hold the reset button down until you hear 3 beeps. if there is no reset button, turn the car to the on position and pump the gas pedal to the floor three times within 5 seconds, and the change oil light will start flashing, and that will reset the change oil light.

it could have a built in reset...we have a chevy and the light stays on even after oil changes, the reset instructions are in the owner's manual (which we don't have) BUT...a mechanic friend told us to pump the brake 3 times (push and hold for a second) and it worked!! Wherever you got the oil change should have done this (if they knew about it). I believe you turn it on and then do this (can't hurt) or do it before you turn it on...sorry, I can't remember.

autotech is correct but the only thing is that you have to tap the red button once look for the oil change light to blink and then hold it in untill you hear three beeps or you will hear the door chime and the light will go off.

On my Grand Prix you have to turn the key to on and press the gas peddle 3 times quickly to reset the change oil light.
Look through your owner's manual.

Too bad American cars don't come with a "Change Car" light. That would be novel and helpful, and truth in lending.
