It's from steam. An exhaust fan would help solve the problem. You can help solve the problem by taking shorter cooler showers and by leaving the bathroom door open till you get an exhaust fan installed. Leaving the door open allow the steam to escape into another room. You really need an exhaust fan though unless you want to worry about mold problems.

When you shower, you use hot water, that heats the air and warm air holds more moisture than cold air. When the warm moist air contacts the walls, windows, etc. which are colder, the air at the contact point loses its moisture and it forms on the colder surfaces as dew or 'sweat'.

To stop this from happening, either shower in cold water or have some method of quickly removing the warm moist air from the room, an exhaust fan or something like that.

It would help a great deal. Also, turn down the water temp, and make your showers shorter.

It's the condensation caused by the hot water, don't worry, it's normal. just don't touch the wet lightswitch with your bare hands.
