I like the analogy.

See how profitable war can be?

Back when Germany and Japan were rebuilt the same people received all the profits: contractors and those who showed themselves to be good 'patriots'. No different here. You destroy something so you can spend millions of tax payer's moneys to enrich the thugs.

And don't tell me it's for the Iraqi people: it's mot. It's for the oil companies (revamping the oil fields to maximize the output), a new embassy, a few hospitals here and there, goo, buy by and large, Iraq will still be poor, just where we want them to be. This was different than Germany and Japan, of course. G. and J. didn't have oil but was the better long-term solution.

We would like to, however, there are alot of thugs from surrounding islamic countries that want to keep it in the dark ages just like they are.
