I want to buy a motorbike but I can't store it off the street at my house. I have a friend who lives in my area who owns a house where I may be able store my bike. How much do you think I should offer her to let me store my motorbike there? Should I offer a figure or let her come up with one? How much do you think is reasonable?

Hmm difficult

two ways of doing it a one off payment or gift say £50

or like a monthly fee (better if it won't be forever) say a fiver?

is it a garage? check if its okay with the insurance to leave it at another address they can be funny.

good luck

what bike is it????

depends how much the bike is worth and if its precious to you. if she is a good friend then she will let you keep it there for nothing, offer her either a gift token from her favourite clothes store or ask her simply how much she would want

Why can't you store it at your house??Just buy a decent padlock and chain and chain it to the nearest lamp post a bike cover will cover it up as well.

if she's your friend as you say she is, then i don't think she ask a penny from you, unless you did something like this to her in the past. to be hornest you don't have to pay in a friend, i can't imagine paying a friend, yah i can pay back if i've borrowed it but not in this situation, it very auckward and definately not friendly

ask your friend what she thinks is fair, then you wont offend her by offering less, and if she expects too much, you can make another arrangement.....personally i wouldn't charge a friend anything.......if i had enough space to store it i would, if i didn't, i wouldn't!! a thanx pressie would be a good idea tho....a meal or something??!!

I am currently storing my furniture in my friends garage I have offerred to pay her but she refuses saying it all balances out in time. I would start by asking your friend if you could and if she/he says yes say would you like some cash for it or I could take you out to dinner to say thanks. x

If she is a friend she may let you leave it there for nothing. Ask her if you can and if she says no ask her how much she'd take.
