merits of OOP

- programmer can make huge applications, using complex objects. That's the lofty goal.

demerits of OOP
- Object might have serious bugs, security holes that ruin the intended application.

There should be an official OOP certification program, where the OBJECT is certified and not the programmer. In the personal computer arena, it's BUYER BE WARE.

Whoever answered is good at copying and pasting irrelevant information, and nothing more.

OOP (object oriented programming) is just the prefered standard of modern programming - as opposed to method and procedure oriented programming.

Benefits are cleanliness of code and speedy processing
Downfalls are debugging.
