when i click twice on the search engine bar it shows up all the sites i ever browsed in a drop down menu, how do i get rid of that?

i didn't make my question clear my bad lol, i know how to delete search histories and stuff wat i meant was on the actual yahoo or gogle search where u type in stuff wen i click there everythin i ever typed in there comes up and thats wat i can't get rid of

on top of your page go to TOOLS, then OPTIONS, then PRIVACY

set your settings there according to how u want them and click OK

your page should be clean now and set for future browsing

There is a little pen sign and an arrow on to the left of the search box. Click the arrow then u would find an option such as " clear search history". This would clear all the previous searches u have done.

Open Internet Explorer
Click on Tools in the menu bar
Click on Internet Options
Click on the Clear History button
This removes all the current entries
If you want it from filling up again:
Click on the Advanced tab
Under Browsing uncheck the Use Inline Autocomplete

click the down arrow next to the search entry area, then pick options, then pick Clear History.

Click on the history tab on the tool bar. Then click on what you would like to delete and delete it.

click on the drop down arrow and right under it you should see options..click that and enable search history
