EXACTLY!!!!!!!! Tony Stewart has outstanding driving ability, he has to be among the best. Drivers say he is a wonderful person when he is off the track. It seems like he is his own worst enemy. I would love to see him get some help to control his rage on the track. But the other drivers should not take what he dishes out on the track. Tony Stewart fans will have to put up with the abuse until Tony learns self control. I am very proud to see that he appologized for the incident(s) but they were something that should have never happened in the first place.

Can't argue Tony Stewart is a great racer, to bad he just doesn't think he gets a pissed off and reacts with no regard for other drivers or even his own pit crew and team. He is a hot headed hypocrite that doesn't practice what he preaches. I am not bashing just stating the facts.
He didn't apologize to Carl Edwards, a complete innocent bystander, he apologized only for his actions becasue of the impact on his team. He spun Edwards out then even had the audacity to flip him off, Edwards did nothing wrong. I do wish Carl Edwards would have just left it alone then and not retaliated on pit road but he all he saw was that Stewart just blew nearly any chance Edwards had of making the chase.

Ok, here's what I think:
True, Stewart apologized after he and Zippy denied they did something to be black flagged for, then Stewart realized he did do it!
Edwards was in the wrong too! Two wrongs don't make a right!
Stewart is a bad *** racer, we know this, the man came back from his black flag and ended up with a decent finish!
I don't think, this is just MY opinion, the penalties were harsh enough on either of the guys!
I would've been pissed if I were Edwards too (I'm not saying his method of retaliation was justified, just I understand the frustration)! Really he was an innocent bystander wrecked out of anger, then got flipped off, then got the same penalty as the instigator and then ends up having a bad finish while the other guy gets a top ten!
I want to see racing not a demolition derby (well when I am watching Nascar anyways)! Both guys need to chill! Hopefully they settle it off the course, without killing each other!
Ok, I know we don't agree on this, but I think with Gordon/Kenseth, the difference was Gordon didn't purposely (not proven or admitted) knock Kenseth out! With Newman/Stewart, Newman raced like crap that whole day...I don't think it was intentional, just a loose car! With Bowyer, I think it was a rookie mistake, he's learning the ropes...he just needs to see some good role models! Now when dealing with something like what Stewart did to Kenseth, Kenseth did to Stewart, Stewart did to Edwards and Edwards did to Stewart...they are proven, obvious and admitted...there is a problem!
BTW I don't hate the guy, I don't "know" him so I can't be a hater, I just don't care for him (I'll let you do that)!

You have to put up with the abuse cause you picked an idiot for a driver. The new #3, not in your dreams. Tony doesn't have the class and never will that Dale had. Tony is a jerk that doesn't care about anyone else on the track but himself, he could care less if he puts someone in the wall and it kills em, who cares right as long as he gets his points. What A JERK!

Tony's apologies go as far as the wind out of his mouth. He has done similar things in the past, but it certainly doesn't change his behavior on the race track. It is a mystery every race trying to figure out which Tony Stewart is showing up to race. Until he goes along without throwing his temper tantrums, he will continue to be chastized by the fans and the media.

Yes. All Tony Stewart fans have to endure abuse. Thats the price you pay for liking a selfish, hypocritical, overweight, idiot. And, if you believe that "Tony" issued that statement then .....well, I'm sure you DO believe that. Anyway, the formal apology that his PR person made him say has as much truth to it as a Michael Moore film.
Tony Stewart and all of his fans suck!

I think it's all a matter of actions taking place when their adreniln (spelling) is running high.
Tony is a nice guy. Every keeps focusing on what he did wrong, there are many things that he does to make right. He donated 2 million to the victory junction camp so far.
If Tony wants to go off every once in a while then let him, he knows the price he has to pay for his actions.
