my husband has an offer to change jobs.. he isn't sure if he should take it.. for one he is more of a loner and now works by himself at 19.25 an hr... but the new job is abot 30 thousand more a yr. but plus an extra 30-40 hours a week. and plus he wil be in a building with lots of other people around where he kinda likes it how it is right now where he is by himself.. but his delema is we could get all of our bills paid off in at least a year and a half if not sooner. so I am not sure if it would be worth the money if he will be gone all the time..... what do you all think..

If it causes him to be away more, that will just put added stress on your marraige! My advice, let him stay where he is,the bills will get paid eventually and you wont have to sacrifice your marraige to do so.Good luck God bless:O)

If he doesnt like working around people I would say it is not worth it. If he is unhappy at work then he will make everyone at home miserable too. Working an EXTRA 30-40 hours a week is like having a second job! That is just nuts!

Sounds like he won't like the job and what's the point of making a lot of cash if you never have time to enjoy it? There's more to life than work. He could take the job until all of your bills are paid and then look for something else but I wouldn't bother. Sounds like he's better off where he is.

Remember that if you force him into taking a job he doesn't like he could became angry with you. The other question you have to ask is if you have children how will this job effect them, he'll be working later & long, will his weekends be free, money isn't always the answer to happiness. As Dave Ramsey Says "beans and rice, live life now like no other, so later you can live life like no other".. check out his web-site
