I'm trying to design a background for my webpage but, cos I'm used to CorelDraw, I can't find the button to change the opacity of the outer edges of images.

Help anyone? please????

There are several ways that this can be achieved.

1) Use a paint brush. You need the Tool Option Palette visible. Set the size of the brush and the density to less than 50% Set the colour to the background colour. Now paint around the edge. To paint straight lines press shift and click.

2) Use the selection tool. Set feathering on the Tools Option Palette. Also select the selection shape.
Select an area slightly inside the image. Then click copy and paste as new image.

3) There are other options for buttonising an image.

That is all that I can think of for now.
