I felt this song was a good song for the times and also teach your children means just what it's said teach them from the cradle to the grave be a good parent always past on the knowledge.

Dumbest song ever? Highly doubt that. I actually like it. Have you ever heard of the Macarena? The Barbie Girl song? Come on, there are many more songs that could qualify as dumb before "Teach Your Children"!

No I think 'Our House' by CSN was the dumbest song ever. But you gotta admit 4+20, and Woodstock makes up for it.
