Hard to see how a Buddhist could be president. In the corrupt system we live in the President has to be corrupt too, to some extent, because money is running everything, and he knows that he'd better not rock the boat or all these vested interests could destroy him! If money was removed from the world, it would be a very different place. I don't know how we'd survive though, (I don't suppose we're going to anyway!) the whole mess is just to big to change. There are too many of us, for it to be possible to re-construct the system. You know what they say, "Love makes the World Go Round", well, "Money Makes it Go Pear-Shaped!"

If the guy/female became particularly a Buddhist, they does not be working for President. Buddhist are very formidable .. for enlightenment. And it is the place they dedicate their time and capability. no longer for administration or means and in no way for the extreme exertion of working for place of work. subsequently any political candidate who says they're a Buddhism is a hypocrite and a liar. Buddhism isn't a perception equipment, that's no longer a series of innovations you like .. it is something you DO .. daily you come across time for it out of your life. And in case you do no longer DO it, you're no longer a Buddhist. No Buddhist ought to run for President and do their Buddhism. So, your question particularly is ... would I vote for a hypocrite? i assumed that being a hypocrite and a liar became a prerequisite for being a political candidate. wager that rules out Buddhists.

It won't happen. With our bipartisan system, the Religious Right carries at least enough influence to defeat any non-Christian presidential candidate.
