My bf and I are coming on 6 years on wednesday...and I want to do something special but I am not sure what...I already got him a present and stuff and we don't intend to go out or anything...but I wanted to make the night special and romantic...does anyone have any suggestions?

Light candles all around your bedroom. (make sure that they won't catch anything a fire) turn all the lights off. Get rose petals (most florist shops sell rose petals, not to costly) making a trail from the entrance door of your home to the bed and all over the bed (don't go crazy with it, only because you'll be the one cleaning it all up later). Wear a sexy outfit, meet him at the door when he gets home and hand him one rose. Have bed side food. Strawberries, whip cream, choaclate surup..ect. (again don't get to carried away you with the sticky and messy food because you will be left with a mess). Have all of this done before he gets home including a bubble bath in the bath room (lite with candles everywhere) and when your man gets home undress him, walk him to the tub, wash his back, while kissing him....ect. BE CREATIVE.....And of course give him some. If he is like my man he won't expect a gift after this

I did this once, and it was superb. I don't know if it will work for you.
I got ready specially for him. Nothing special, same old clothes, not make up, but free from all work ready to spend time only with him. We did the usual stuff, but I kept it perfectly the usual stuff. Exactly the way he likes things to be. Cup of tea, exactly when he wanted it, before he asked. His favourite dinner (again, everyday food), cooked exactly as he likes, served in a tidy way, no last minute preparations, every thing ready before he reached home. We tidied together. I ditched the dishes for the next day, and we curled together to watch a movie.
A late night snack was ready and served just when he wanted it and a minute before he asked and so on....
No drinks, nothing out of the ordinary, just the usual stuff but with an effort to make it exactly how he likes life to be.
He loved it. He took it as a gesture that I remember his preferences and likes, and even though I cannot do it all everyday, I remember it and do it when I can. He actually started spedning more time in the house with me after that, we used to work around the place together. And we didn't fight for a whole month ;)

a candle lit dinner and dim lights good music and slow dance across the living room whispering sweet nothings in his ear in a very sexy tempting way until the excitement and tension only waits to pop and be even more meaningful

You can cook together, make something you both have to get your hands dirty with, like dough cookies, bread etc. Spice it up with just aprons for outfits. massage is alwasy nice too. sigh i have been married for too long I cnat even think of anything else! lol
