The golden steer is fun and it is kitschy 1950's. Lots of lounge acts performed there and ate there in the past.
Bootlegger is fun -- it on the strip-- it is italina and there is an open mic night.
There is a cabo wabo in RED ROCK casino-- the food is good.
There is also a SALT LICK BBQ that is from Austin Texas orginally and the beer is cold and the BBQ is hot-- have the peach cobbler for dessert.
All the best

I just came back after being away for two years...so I am sure there are new ones I know nothing about...but the Hard Rock Cafe (Casino) is a good one...and they have a very unique one downtown on Fremont Street you'd enjoy...they have automobiles suspended over your head (kinda unnerving)..and there was one I went to that displayed wonderful old movie memorabilia...you can find out about after you get here. They also have an outdoor cafe in an indoor setting complete with water and gondolas, at the Venetian Hotel and Casino...it's gorgeous. Sam's Club (off the beaten track) has an indoor nature/forest thing surrounded by restaurants. The Union Plaza (downtown) has a top floor restaurant with an unobstructed view of the downtown strip...it's really pretty. New York, New York has a lot to offer. If I think of more, I'll come back...but this will give you a few ideas...and once you get here, there will be advertisements for more.

I am assuming you are coming from the UK, and haven't spent much time in the US. Then I am reading your question and looking to answer based on what you asked. theme, bizarre, fun, unusual, quirky. so, not looking at price or the best food. All I list are decent, and fun entertainment.
"Tournament of Kings" Jousting Dinner Show at the Excalibur. Family fun meal served by medieval wenches while you watch the knights battle it out. No cutlery.
Imperial Hawaiian Luau at the Imperial Palace. Poolside buffet with Polynesian Dancers

Kahunaville - Its themed island paradise themed.
Inside the Hard Rock Casino (Not the Hard Rock Cafe) there is a place called "Mr Lucky's 24/7" If you ask for the "Gamblers Special" you will get a Steak, 3 Shrimp salad, Potato for $7.77 One of the best deals in town. Its not on the menu so you have to ask for it by name. Ive had it and it was actually a very good meal.
Of course there is the Hooter's Casino. I am sure there is a Hooters to eat at there.
Go to www.restaurant.com and get some coupons.

I stay right here in Las Vegas and dine out, properly, each and every evening. maximum might want to signify the "proper of the international" on the proper of the Stratosphere motel. it might want to be memorable and the view, brilliant, however the nutrition is sub-par and they strive against to make the eating position seem a lot more effective stylish than it truly is. once you're looking small, large provider and ideal nutrition try Vick and Anthonys interior the Golden Nugget. The Eiffle Tower eating position interior the Paris motel-on line casino is scrumptious. The Capitol Grille interior the kind tutor Mall is magnificent and could go out of their way for you. provide you with inner most eating accomidations if in a huge crew, they have the perfect champagne, liquor, wines accessible and their nutrition is continually cooked to perfection. stay far flung from the Tropicana motel, their eating position isn't undesirable, however the decrepit property and rank bathing room smells will more effective than likely ruin your eating adventure. in case you want numerous help finding out on a eating position or making reservations, be at liberty to the contact me! Have a astounding evening! and congratulations!

There's a cheesy 50's style diner in the stratosphere where the staff bust out into song (and dance), shame the food is awful.

my favorite is called 'marakesh'. it's a moroccan restaurant with a set menu of 5 courses. you sit on large ottoman type cushions, they wash your hands in rose water prior to eating, and belly dancers come out periodically and encourage you to get up and dance with them. it's a great experience and the food is excellent. it's located off strip on paradise road just north of flamingo across from hughes center parkway.
