1. Normally ActiveX setting will be in the security part. Go search the security setting and have a look on activex.
2. Try to open a page that try to install plug-in using activex. Like yahoo messenger. If there nothing happen (no message box or anything else that suppose to pop-up) that mean your browser does not support activex.

Not 100% sure but I think ONLY Internet Explorer supports ActiveX.

ok the other guy's beat me to this answer but i guess they are all good answers so,....well, in addition to that, i'll say, don't wory about it 'cos most times when it's required by an application online, it'll offer to download for you.(eg. miniclip.com)
