you dont say if this person didnt acutally turn up on the day oyou were supposed to meet them, so Im not too sure if you got stood up or what - but its a toughie - they sound organised enough to ring the day before to meet them which could indicate something is wrong - or however, they could have just lost their phone maybe and dont have a number for you stored anywhere else. My advice is that if you can get an alternative way of contacting them - via their address or workplace - do that to put your mind at rest

Well, since I've been screwed over by many dudes, I would be pissed and figure I was being stood up.

However, if you talk to him again, don't jump on him right away. Let him explain himself, first. Sometimes there are family emergencies and you don't want to come off as a douche for accusing him of standing you up when his grandmother died.

Whatever his allaby is, you will never know if it's true or not. The best way to tell is if he insists on meeting up with you- for real this time.

I probably would but I worry easily. Not everyone is totally responsible though either. I think it would be rude to actually confirm the meeting (or whatever) and then just not show up without a call or something.

I think you would have to give them the benefit of the doubt as some emergency could possibly have happened. If you still can't get through and they havn't contacted you at all, then I would just forget them as I think you can draw the conclusion that they changed their mind but didn't have the guts to tell you.

There may be a good chance that their phone is off - i.e. in a meeting!

Battery low?

Go to where you agree to meet and only worry if they are very very late turning up!
