Anyone care to share their thoughts on the band "Godspeed You Black Emperor", in particular, the album "F'#~"? Does anyone know of anything even remotely similar by other bands?

If you really like the whole post-rock thing, like GSYBE or Mogwai, I would highly sugguest Explosions in the Sky. They're from Austin, anyways, it's perfect. They're very dynamic, the songs start slow, build up, and then explode at the end, alomst every time. How Strange, Innocence would be the album to check out.

Mogwai are worth a listen if you like Godspeed - I listened to Godspeed because I liked Mogwai. 'Young Team' or Come On Die Young' are good places to start. As for Godspeed I prefer the album 'Lift Yr Skinny Fists'
