I need to translate some xml files. I am unable to delete the relevant text like a MS Word file. It is very easy to translate a MS Word file as we can easily delete the text and then overwrite the translation and in this way the formatting is not disturbed at all.

Could someone guide me how can I edit the xml files to insert the text of other language?

Thank you.

for starters, if you are comfortable using MSWord, then why dont you open the XML file in MSWord? It will work like every other text file.
There are XML editors available, but I think you are better off not trying to learn them right now (if you are pressed for time)

However since editing XML is tricky, I will tell you a simple rule of thumb. Open and edit the XML file in MSWord, then save it and then reopen the same in Internet Explorer.
If things are fine, IE will show the whole file, elsewise it will point you to the exact line where the problem is.

Hope this helps
