This one I saw recently and it scared the living hell out of me, and at the same time i found it to be rather intellectually stimulating-

Audition (1999) by Takashi Miike

Plot Summary: A lonely Japanese widower whose son is planning to move out of the house soon expresses his sadness to a friend and fellow film producer, who becomes inspired to hold an audition for a non-existent film so that the widower can select a new potential bride from the resulting audition pool. The widower ultimately becomes enamored with and fascinated by one particular young woman...but first impressions can often be horribly wrong....

I am a true Horror fanatic, so it usually takes alot to scare me. I have not been scared from a movie in a long time. So I would have to say, for me, the scariest movies are the ones I watched when I was a kid and these movies set the standards for horror for me. It would have to be Salem's Lot (the original one), the Exorcist, and Jaws (would go into the water for a year after Jaws). Now a days No movie has scared me, but i can watch Exorcist and still be freaked out and Salem's Lot, whoa the master vampire still freaks me out.

It would have to be Fragile.
Not exactly scary but its kinda interesting story about the supernatural.
If you were asking about the scariest drama serial , it would have to be Ghost Wisperer.
What is the scariest movie that you have seen?

The Ring was so scary, I can't bring myself to watch the second one. And Gothica. Don't know why but that movie still freaks me out. If I think about it too much before bed, I will have nightmares.
