I have only passed through it but its not my kind of holiday. If you like a resort full of Brits and British themed pubs and cafes. Then you will love it but if on the other hand you would prefer a holiday with greek food and bars that are not full of Brits then your not going to have any fun.

My tip would be to hire a car and see the whole of Zante, it is a beautiful island.

I was in Zante last year. I stayed in Kalamaki which is a 5 min taxi ride from Laganas. The noise at night from Laganas was unbelievable so be prepared for a lively resort. I ate out there once and it was expensive and crap...this was prob just my choice of taverna though. The place is geared toward brits so i'd imagine the prices will be fairly good. We paid about £5 or less for a main course in the evening in Kalamaki. Try and see a turtle and have a great time

Laganas is a very lovely town; it is very Britished themed, bars and cafes. Personal if I wanted to eat in Mc Donald’s, KFC, or Pizza hut etc I would stay in England, but it does depend on what you want from a holiday if you like a bit of rest and nice bars and the occasional mad evening would be better to stay in the next town and get either a cab or walk it when you stay out late. You could get a horse and carriage. The place is full of lovely ladies no matter where you stay :)
