I dont get this. I read a post where this guy said
my wife is fat she is 5'5" and 125 pounds.
I was like what?? I am in the nutrition field
and she is what weight she is supposed to be
according to her BMI in fact she is on the very
low end.
I don't get it.

Some guys are just assholes just like theres girls who are complete biatches. For you girls who said ALL men are pigs or watever, just because you havent met a decent guy doesnt mean hes not out there. The guy might be lying, if shes not bent out of shape , she weighs more than 125.

I know, it's screwed up! I can only think this guy has some serious issues or his wife is lying about her weight! I also notice men will call a woman fat, because she has a big behind or chunky thighs, even though the rest of her is slim. I think the word fat is used way too much in the wrong context. I've even heard the word obese used on here for someone that was not even overweight. It's ridiculous and it needs to stop!

BMI works differently for girls than guys. The female body tends to store fat in certain areas, mainly the buttocks and thighs, while a male's body will spread it out much more.
If this girl is on the low end of the BMI scale, she could be have even fat distribution and appear thin, or have the fat concentrated in her midsection and appear somewhat portly.

Because some guys (not all, some) see women in magazines and in the movies and believe that this is the way women are supposed to look, and that anything shorter, or larger is not "right", therefore making them "fat"
It's completely pathetic, and usually it's those guys that don't get girls because they have way too high an expectation.

Guys don't care about BMI's they go strictly according to what they perseeve as perfect.
Any any guy who would speak about his wife like that has no sense of decency anyway

Guys are just dumb. Many have an image of what their ideal girl's body shape is, and if it's different from the physique of a model or actress, they won't approve of a girl's weight..
