I have found that, only hp,toshiba, sony, and emachines are the
only computer company's that have there products in stores.
Besides DELL and those kiosks at the malls, I haven't found a
store yet that you could walk into and buy an IBM which is what
I really want. COULD ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE? I have an
HP desktop that I bought last year just cause of the lightscribe
technology I thought it was cool, but I fell for it when I
should ve waited. I really don't like hp because my friend also
has one and both ours work poorly,freezing, not playing quality video, stopping and loading in the middle of surfing the net,etc.
etc........if no one can help me then what is a good quality brand
to buy, I'm looking for good video,burning cd's, I have a small internet business in the works so a good business orientated
computer won't hurt either, and I am looking to spend between
1500 and 2500 max on a laptop! HEEEEEELP! hahahahaha

Probably u try to find IBM but may be Lenovo would be a better bet:)

Dont know about stores but I like to use pricegrabber.com, and just research, also try consumer reports. I just bought a emachine at walmart works just like all the rest of them and the price was only 348.00
