No, I usually just ignore them rather than slurring them.

There are many good ways and bad ways to disagree with someone. One good example is to say: I respect your opinion but, I am sorry I do not agree because of (state your reason). But don't force your opinion on someone. Just remember this: other people also have rights to stand by their own opinion.

Becomes angry, slur your counterparts, and swear surely is a bad way to disagree.

Always try to think about one topic or problem on more that one aspect of it. We call it "shallow opinion" if you only think just one aspect of the topic or problem. Also try to put yourself on his/her shoes before judging people. That way, you are trying to understand his point of view.

Perhaps a better way to phrase your query would be:
What do you do when you're upset with someone else's opinion or perspective?

Through years and years of experience I've learned that when I become upset at someone's opinion / perspective being different from mine the best thing for me to do is to step back, to walk away. Words spoken (or shouted) in anger achieve NOTHING and can do more to ruin a relationship, friendship or acquaintanceship.

Oh, it's difficult at times, for sure, but stepping back, counting to ten and letting it go is a much better procedure than allowing myself to get carried away by my emotions.

It's been years that I've used expletives in this respect. I do not give myself the "right" to swear at people. To me it's a mark of one who is ill-prepared to argue (in the classic sense).

Oh my gosh!!!!!! it is purely loopy. i'm no longer affirming you probably did something incorrect because, your pastime makes you ask those questions. even as someone is pregnant you truly shouldn't ask to many question except they commence talking about it first or no matter if that is someone you do not forget that you're conscious of their difficulty. You under no circumstances understand it ought to correctly be an unplanned being pregnant. it ought to correctly be somewhat one from an affair. Or it ought to also be somewhat one from a rape. also the mum may be planning on putting the baby up for adoption because, they could't arise with the money for it. So talking about the little you will be able to be very hurtful. i understand your pastime makes you try this yet, your pastime she truly re-examine this. I propose a standard hi how are you. do you want all help is extra proper except the mum starts chatting with you first. you purely under no circumstances understand what they're dealing with. Sorry about what befell. feels like this replaced into an unplanned and probably undesirable being pregnant. Michelle

not at all, we all are free to think and view in different perspectives, the matter may be one. i will try to explain the angle i looked at it and putforth the facts, pros and cons in a more diplomatic manner without upsetting. should try and assess the opinion of our counterpart, may be he is right. if needed, we can rectify.

I usually wait for them to start slurring (is that a word?) me and then i point out their hypocrisy. Keeping it cool is the best policy. Wait for them to show the holes in their theory.

I only bad mouth people who ask stupid questions (mostly pervs asking about sex) or who respond and don't know what the **** they're talking about (IE. giving truly bad advice).

If someone just has a different opinion, then I don't bother. It's that persons right to form their own opinion.

I don't think people have a right to be idiots and give blatantly bad advice. (Especially bad medical advice, that pisses me off.)

Have fun.

You ignore it. Respect their viewpoint...and they will respect yours. Let it go. Someone is going to agree with you...and someone isn't going to agree with you...and that's Life. What you can do is be consistent in getting your own point across...if it is important to you. You will be heard. This is for everyone...equally. It's part of the first amendment..."Free Speech"!

I respect others viewpoints because minds are different. If the viewpoint makes sense to me , ok no problem.
But racist or sexist viewpoints bother me.
