Okay yesterday I got really sunburnt, (well I'm just really red, Its not too serious) I'm supposed to be going camping tomorrow but I'm worried about being exposed to the sun. Do you think I should go ahead and just try to stay out of the sun (even though we're doing loads of outdoor activities) or do you think its not worth the risk? Part of me really wants to go, but I'm still worried about getting skin cancer or something.

Go on your trip, cover your skin(linen's best), use sun block.
If the sun is too much for your activities just stay put, walk with some items to entertain yourself, but at least you'll be out of the house.

I think the damage to your skin has already been done when you first got burnt. Now your skin has a little bit of a protective barrier because of your tan. I would suggest going camping but wearing a high SPF all over, even if you're clothed,(A dry T-shirt only has an SPF of 10!) Make sure you re-apply it after swimming. Wear loose clothing to keep you cool and keep applying After-sun to your sunburn as many times a day as possible. If you keep your skin moisturised this will make your burn turn to tan and also last longer. Theres no point missing out on things as long as you're sensible! Don't go without proper sun protection though :-D!

I seriously don't think you're going to get skin cancer from one or two sunburns. If that was the case, nearly everyone would have melanoma. Just slather on the sunscreen like there was no tomorrow and avoid any prolonged exposure to the sun. You can still enjoy some activities, but don't spend hours in the sun.

wear light clothing that covers everywhere that is likely to burn more than you already burnt it. Put sunblock on, wear a Hat, not a baseball cap a proper Hat that will effectively keep the sun off your face and more importantly your neck and have fun - even if you weren't going camping every time you go out in the sun even if its just to the shops you should put sunblock on and wear a hat, it shines whatever your doing out in it

you should go. Bring sunglasses and a hat and also the highest factor of suncream you have and keep applying it atleast every hour. Make sure you don't sit in direct sunlight and you should be ok. as for today I'd recommend you load your face with moisturiser to prevent it from peeling tomorow! Good luck and I hope your sunburn heals soon and have fun camping , :)

It only takes one sunburn to increase your chances of skin cancer.. so if you've already been sunburnt.. you're already at risk.

You can go on the trip. Just cover your extremities with light clothing. Make sure you slather on the sunscreen.. and take lots of water so you don't get dehydrated and you'll be perfectly fine.
