What did Lester's final monologue at the end of the film mean? In it, he said, "You have no idea what I"m talking about for sure. But don't worry. You will someday." What was he talking about?

I think he knew he was talking to an adult audience. Based on the answers I've read so far, I think he was talking about his life flashing before his eyes while dying, and that we won't know the feeling of our own lives flashing before us because we're not dead yet, but we will someday when we die...anyone agree with this?

he is talking about death. How you never appreciate life and all it's wonders and yes even the bad things. Near the end of the movie he became more aware of now his life in the begging of the movie was so boring and humdrum.
He is just saying we're all going to die some day.
I love that movie but hate that damn plastic bag. The lamest part of the movie if you ask me.

i've got faith this 'comedy' is approximately hormonally-charged youthful adult males searching for sexual adventure, which certainly one of them aquires from a warm fruit pie, which motives him some burning in a private place. does not sound like something that any one with a million/2 a ideas might delight in.

He's trying to tell the audience that life itself is precious so don't waste it being an idiot and making bad choices. His life is gone, it's too late for him.
