Everyone here keeps talking about how we are descended from monkeys, according to Darwin. Darwin did not say that--he said that we were descended from a common ancestor millions of years ago. As to Genesis, I think that God didn't use 7 Earth days--he created the universe, so why limit himself to 24 hours? And there's no reason why we were his first draft. He could have easily created many versions before he created us. Adam may have just been the first of this draft.

So many theories and stories.....
If Adam and Eve were the only ancestors, why are there blacks, yellows, reds etc?And Bible accepts that the creation has started only 4000 yrs ago...In such a small time, can descendants become so different?
So,the answer is found in the Vedas, meaning knowledge, and which contains details of human history, since millions of years.
It says that there are 400,000 types of humans...living in millions of universes, and some of these humans live up to millions of years, and are much advanced that poor humans here.
The Vedas contain, among other subjects, the name of each plant of the planet, and thir use for medicine-Ayurveda,which the West are starting to learn...

Because scientifically, there is even lesser basis to conclude that humans came from Adam.
This is logical, because every religion preaches a different lineage. IF we were to fair, we would have to accept all the different ancestry of humans based on the various religious teachings, leading to an absurd conclusion: That the ancestors of the various religions were having an orgy.
Now, that would make our anecstors beasts, would it not?

All animals [or beasts] are Gods beloved. God never dislikes anyone and treats everyone equal. So humans concluded it will be better if they said they are descendant of animals.

It never ceases to astound me why people has such a difficult time just excepting the biblical account of things as a simple metaphorical explanation and instead try to believe some bizarre scientific theory , which only goes to further strengthen the formers stand, I think the main lesson to learn of the bible is to have faith

Let's see, do I accept the current scientific methodology and its findings or do I choose to believe bronze age storytellers sitting around a campfire. Hmmm... difficult choice.

most of the people have a hard time believing what we do not see. this is the to-see-is-to-believe principle. sadly, even I sometimes, believe in evolution because there are more questions when i believe creation. can you blame me?
