when i drink i become a different perso..ppl often don't want to be around me..why is that???

an alcoholic is someone who cannot NOT drink. It doesn't matter the quantity or how you act when you are drunk. If you think you have a problem, though, you probably do. Do you act violent or angry? Or do you act like a jerk? It's been my experience that people usually act out underlying problems they have when they have too much to drink, especially if they are under stress.
If it's a big concern and you cause a lot of harm, don't drink anymore. There are programs to help you if you have difficulty quitting, and thye can help you with the other things that seem to be bothering you.

If you are going to AA meetings then you are an alcoholic
Picked that line up while being stationed in Korea....ahhh good times.

That's a real warning sign. Get someone you know to stay sober and video you when you're drunk. You will feel entirely different about drinking after that - it can be a very sobering experience. I think you need it.

when u drink...the alcohol takes over your mind and it makes u a different person..many who drink r really good people when they r not drinking...so if u need help go to AA meetings

every one is like that its not just you i cant really explain it but alcohol changes a persons personality and if you think that your drinking to much then you are becoming an alcoholic

My dad gets like that. That does make you an alcoholic. You probably become loud, repeat everything 200 times, wants to fight, thinks everything he says is right, et cetera.
