Don't think I could be much help to you during an exam. You should not be afraid to ask your teacher for help if you don't know the meaning of a word unless it is an English exam.

Here's a little help. Your name qiut+nice. Qiut doesn't mean anything in English. The letter Q is almost always followed by a U in English because by itself Q doesn't really have a sound. Quit means to stop or give up on something. I bet you meant to say quiet which means you don't talk a lot and would go with nice.

Ok. Here is a really simple bit of advice for you which may help you alot. I offer this same advice to alot of students.

Always look at the word in 'context' - this means if you read the whole sentence - you can often guess the meaning of the word even if you don't understand it.

Don't look at words as individual things. For instance if I asked you what does this word mean? 'can' - you might have problems because if there's no sentence or 'context' how can you guess?

- It could be a 'can' of soup.

- It could be about ability - I 'can' swim.

- It could be asking for permission - 'can' I go?

Look at the whole sentence and try to use your intuition before you reach for that dictionary!

Good luck!

In English, it is not required to know the meaning of all the words in the sentence. It is important to see the sentence as a whole and then you can guess the meaning of the work by understanding the meaning of the sentence. Try it out!

Read books and novels, and as soon as you reach a word you don't understand in the book, reach to the dictionary beside you.... and so on. A great trainning skill.
