it really depends on what your expectations are.
If you are happy being single then I can't see why you can't live a happy life.

Single people can be happy. The biggest advantage for having a relationship is that when things go bad it's nice to have someone to go through it with you. I personally am one of those that always need a partner.

Relationships---is the most basic need to call yourself human and so that you will experience being alive. The instant notion when we hear the word relationship is that bond shared between you and you boy or girl friend. a closer look will tell us that the word goes beyond that and it includes the bond which you urself create with all the people around you. People will always need people. even a loner will at one time have to come in contact with other people and will have to share the BOND. :)

You don't have to be in a relationship to be happy or be married to have a happy life. You need to be happy with your self before you can have any relationship.

well, i guess happiness does'nt come or end with any person in life if so was the case people would only be sad due to deaths of the loved ones,etc
its your choice whether you want to be happy at any give point of time,you dont need any person to make you feel happy!!

I'm sure it would be less lonely, but you can have friends that enrich your life, and I think people are capable of making themselves happy no matter what their situation. So, No I don't think it's necessary.
