my book What to expect the first year says, These occur most commonly at three weeks,six weeks,, and three mos. but can occur at any time douring an infant's development. Sometimes, much to parental dismay, even a baby who has been sleepng through the night begins to wake for a middle-of-the-night feeding douring a growth spurt. My baby is more hungry now to she will be 12 weeks old on fri. and she is also starting to go through teething and growth spurts she eats more in some feedings than others. i hope this helps.
