They are millions of successful multicultural marriages. My wife and I come from different cultures and we have been married for 9 years loving every moment of it.
Look for personalities and open mind and values.
By the way, I know more than 20 happily married couples that come from different cultures.
I am not saying the marriage will/will not work because success factors are the same as for married couples from the same culture.
I am surprised with some of the comments that people made on this question that reflects they have never met or traveled outside their cultural norm

I believe that it would be foolish of an English girl to marry a Tunisian man. He may be very charming before marriage but after marriage his expectations of a wife might differ from what the woman anticipated.
The culture of Tunisia is very different to Britain which may cause upset in the partnership as each has different expectations of the other and are aiming for different things in life.
This isn't a judgement against Tunisian culture, I just think that a British girl wouldn't make a suitable wife for a Tunisian man.
There is no need to be racist about this or be negative about people who are British or people who are Tunisian.

The stories are legend about Western girls marrying a person from a traditional culture, and, then, not being able to cope with the demands and circumstances that that culture places on them.
The short answer is no, I don;t think it is a good idea. Only you know if the special circumstances in your case goes against the grain.

Frankly speaking I think British girls r ones of the ugliest girls in Europe cause their skin is too pale and their eyes are not prompt. Plus, most of them have skin problems and they are fat. So, in my oppinion, a british would make a nice couple to an african man as this way, their children will be prettier. They won't be very black cause their mother is white, but they will have very beautiful eyes and lips like their father. Good luck and sorry for my comments about British girls, but it's true from what I've seen.

you'll be giving up your culture for 1 thing.....Men from these 3rd world countries are controlling and the women are thought of as 3rd class citizen no better than a farm animal. In some respects the farm animals are more respected than women!
I would tread on this relationship very cautiously. You will be giving up everything...and you will more than likely be sorry once you committed to marriage!

Why does it matter what people think?
Do they know what they are doing? How have they dealt with cultural issues, religion, rising kids. Are they mature enough? Those are concerns they should be addressing.
Whatever people think, should be the least on their minds.
