My ex-fiance (whom is Kuwaiti) ended our two year engagement and kept the engagement ring and said after the fact that it was a gift and she won't be giving it back. She lives in Kuwait, what options do I have if any ?

If she is the one that ended the relationship and if you were both in the States, then she would have to return the ring. But since she is not in the US, then there is not much you can do.

I think when you gave her the ring, it became her ring, since you bought it for her. Why would you want it back, anyway? Revenge? It seems it would just have bad memories. I hope you didn't want to keep it to give it to someone else as an engagement ring? Not a good idea. If you wanted to sell it, it probably wouldn't bring near what you paid for it. Best to just let it go and forget all about it, and her.

none..she is right..it was a gift. In America, if the girl breaks off the engagement, usually the ring is returned, but no guarantees. You have no options, write it off and get on with your life.

Be civilized, forget about the ring let her keep it. There is no need to fight over it. Those are memories for her, maybe one day she can even realize what she has lost and try to get back to you.

You do not get gifts after a breakup, i think it is being uncivilized.
