I'm sure someone told me once that her mom bleached her hair that blonde color for the pageants. Being she was so young would't this have damaged her hair? Is this true?

Bleaching hair, young or old but especially young, will always damage. Children are also known to have lighter hair that darkens as they get older, though. They did alot of wrong things to this poor angel anyway. They made her wear removable dentures when she lost baby teeth and all that makeup... I hope that Mom's cancer wasn't too painful.

Not sure if it would have dammaged her hair, but I am not sure that is good for the heath and delicate skin of a young child. Their scalp is more delicate than ours. I am sure a beauty pagent person would do anything, but young girls often have very blonde hair. It darkens as they age. I was blonde as a child and mine is brown now. Some blondes are lite and then dark blones as adults. It is hard to know unless you had insider info.
