Why do you need both installed?? Why not just switch over to Pro???

If it's only happenig on the Home edition then it's probablly a corrupt installation. Try re-installing it (may mess up your boot partition though so I dont know what will happen with the dual boot).

Before that just try updating all your drivers etc - you never know. Also run the Windows Update and download any patches or security updates

LMAO. Pro is NO different except it supports more stuff. Home edition sucks ***!

You may have 504 RAM due to your graphics card which *may* use the system ram (although only OLD *** cards usually do that). Could be mismatched RAM...

If you cant listen to music or watch porn on the pro version then something is deffinately wrong with your whole setup!!

I've had this before .

I'm don't know too much about computers , but my stepfather is a computer specialist . When this happened to my computer , he told me that there's a worm . I guess it's some sort of virus and he said either call technical support because it might be something with their software , or if you download alot of things , then you most likely downloaded a worm and the only thing you can do then is basically reboot your computer .
You have to completely restart your computer .

But before you do that , you might want to attempt to save any important files to a disk and ask around a bit more before completely wiping your computer's harddrive .

I hope you are able to fix your computer .
Good luck !

I think the problem is u r using the same plateform ie xp on the same computer. this kink of problem r common in this type of situation when same windows r used some files r conflicting with each other. try to reinstall the windows xp home edition cd on it may be ur problem solved but te solution is for short time it may came later. the permane t solution is to go for another version eg- Me/2k/98 etc.

the subject concerns could properly be everywhere from a utility conflict, motive force conflict to a hardware difficulty. or maybe an over heating difficulty. ask your self... did you merely at present deploy a clean application? or replace a gadget motive force (such because of the fact the mouse, photos card motive force, keyboard, webcam) >? in case you probably did merely replace some thing, this is probable the hot motive force it quite is inflicting a controversy. you will could RollBack the motive force. circulate into your gadget supervisor via Going to MyComputer, good click on it inclusive of your mouse, chosen residences, circulate to the Hardware (tab) and click the gadget supervisor button. Scroll down the record of your instruments, and seek for any yellow !!!! marks or pink circles with a line by way of it. If there's a conflict with a motive force, it ought to or won't take place there, even with the undeniable fact that this is quite worth finding at merely in case.... in case you don't be attentive to or are uncertain... then you definately could take your workstation right into a expert and have it looked at.

When mine did this it was a bad ram chip, one of my ram chips was a different brand name then the others, it worked fine at first but as time went by it caused the computer to become unstable.

Most probably, it is either:

a) something in the "command" must have broken down
b) A virus

mostly recommended to advise a professional in computer engineering. Get your computer fixed and tell them not to format your computer.

Good luck

if pro is working, go with pro. there is no real difference between the two anyways. it sounds to me like home edition isnt getting one of its startup programs to run properly. just reinstall it if you want XP home that badly.
