I believe that God created me and that I was put on the Earth to serve Him and to be His vicegerent on Earth. However, I won't force my answer on others, so feel free to disagree with me. I promise I won't shoot you like some of those rabid others might on Yahoo!Answers. LOL.

Possibilities:
Always existed as a form of intelligence (consciousness , if you prefer) of some sort.
Organized into a "soul" or "spirit"
Parents created flesh and bone house for this earlier creation.
The two, (or three if you prefer) unite, and here I am.

I dont think Freud was ever able to answer this question, but as regards me, I know my parents created me during a sexual intercorse and the reason behind it was to have a family.

Well - I'm created by my ancestors, and my ancestors was created by theyr ancestors .. and so on..
Well - at the begining - u know - some ogranic mess - and one molecule success to create some fun amorfing herself :)
